As we live our social lives, sometimes, we feel like good things keep happening and some times, we feel like only bad things keep happening.
And this is often expressed in contrasting terms such as 'Sally's Law' or 'Murphy's Law'.
Sally's Law :
It is a word used when things are progressing smoothly.
In other sense, it is a word used when things happen to progess in a good direction, a direction that is beneficial to oneself.
It's are in the American movie 'When Harry met Sally' made in 1989.
Where the main character, Sally (played by Meg Ryan) and Harry (played by Billy Crystal) have a disagreement in the car.
After growing apart, they met again by chance and over the course of 12 year, they get to know each other more and more and it ends in a happy ending where Harry confesses his feelings for Sally.
From this point on, throught Sally happened to use this phrase when something happened as she hoped.
Murphy's Law:
This is an expression used when things are not going well.
In other sense, it is an expression used when things coincidentally unfold in a bad direction.
Its origin comes from an anecdote of Captain Edward A. Murphy, who worked at a U.S. Air Force base.
In 1949, Murphy ordered the installation of a measuring device for an experiment to find the limits of gravity and discovered that his subordinates had assembled all of the electrodes Murphy had designed in the wrong way.
Due to this mistake, all experimental values came out to 0, and Murphy, who saw this, said "There are many ways to do something and one of them can lead to disaster and someone is sure to use that method."
Since then, this word has been commonly used when things are not going well and things are going wrong.

How many cases do you agree with?
By the way, i think these cases are frequent.
I think, that when I think about good things, good things happen often.
And when I think about bad things, bad things happ often.
Once something good happens, then have an expectation that something good will happen again.
And once something bad happens, then feel anxious and the likehood of something bad happening again increases.
So, the last thing I want to say is, I hope you always live with positive thinkiing. At the same time, it wouldn't be a bad thing to always be cautious,
Am I right?
