let's know about Part-time delivery work job

In the case of full-time work, typically receive the payment after a month, whereas a part-time delivery job has the advantage of immediate payment.

Based on my experiences, I would like to explain the advantage and disadvantage of each delivery job.

 

1. Baemin Connect

This is the most representative delivery app and it is the most common short-term part-time job that non-professional people can experience.

Advantage :

1) Both vehicle and walking deliveries are possible.

2) Delivery fee is relatively higher commpared to other delivery services to be mentioned below.

3) Along with the Coupang Eats, it has the most orders.

4) Short-distance orders are often available.

Sometimes I was really lucky, the delivery destination might be within 100meters.

For exampe, picking up from a restaurant and deliverhy directly accross the street to an apartment or house.

5) Delivery fees increase during peak times.

6) Possible to choose to deliver the B-Mart store near me.

Disdvantage :

1) Compared to coupang Eats, there are fewer missions.

2) It is said that if rejecting a call when the app is on, the subsequent call assignments may not be favorable (but I actually did not experienced on this case).

3) B-Martk is only avaiable in the case B-Mart store near me.

 

2. Coupang Eats Delivery Partner

When it comes to food delivery, people oftern think of Baemin or Coupang Eats.

(Of course, there is also Yogiyo).

Advantage :

1) Both vehicle and walking deliveries are possible.

2) Along with the Baemin, it has the most orders.

3) During peak times (which can vary by region), there are sometimes more orders than Baemin.

4) During peak time, you may be given missions that can earn you an additional 5,000 to 10,000 KRW.

5) Delivery fees incease more significantly from other apps during rain or snow.

Disdvantage :

1) Delivery fees are relatively lower compared toi Baemin (though often higher than Happy Crew or Kakao T. picker.)

2) Rejecting a call seems to affect subsequent call assigments.

3) There are fewer short-distance orders compared to Baemin.

 

3. Happy Crew

This service is usually for the part of the SPC group, mainly picking up from the Paris Baguette and Baskin Robbins.

The app system is similar to Baemin or Coupang Eats.

Advantage :

1) Mostly light items are delivered (although sometimes larger items like cakes are included).

2) Since the products are mostly ready-made, there is almost no waiting for cooking like with Baemin or Coupang Eats.

3) Both vehicle and walking deliveries are possible.

Disdvantage :

1) The delivery fee is usually fixed (usually 3,000 KWR).

2) Since the main pick up locations are Paris Baguette and Baskin Robbins, there must be store near by and while delivery distance varies greatly.

It is often over 1km.

3) Order is not often than Baemin or Coupang Eats.

 

4. Kakao T Picker

Mainly delivery orders from Olive Young, SPC group (Paris Baguette, Baskin robbins), CU and etc.

App system is similar to Baemin or Coupang Eats.

Advantage :

1) Even when Baemin or Coupang Eats is not busy, possible sometimes to get orders by turning on this app.

2) If there is any Olive Young nearby, can be busy during Olive young's peak delivery times.

Disdvantage :

1) There are fewer orders compared to Baemin or Coupang Eats.

2) Delivery fees are lower compared to Baemin or Coupang Eats.

3) There are few short-distance orders and the distance fr0m the pick up location to the destination is often at least 1KM.

4) While walking delivery is possible, I suggest to use the car delivery to be more convenient.

 

5. Borzo Courier

This is not food delivery but rather a service  where all kiinds of items can be delivered.

It is a kind of quick service where you can see the starting point, destination and price on the app at once so possibl e to go to the starting point if accepting a call.

Advantage :

1) Can choose a call to suit to me and won't be treated unfairly even thhough I do not accepting any calls like with Baemin or Coupang Eats.

2) Since delivery fees are determined by distance, I can choose higher paying call if I have enough time and want to earn more in one time delivery.

3) The end time is also displayed on the app so I can adjust my shedule by myself.

4) I can select more than one delivery at a time.

For example, if one delivery destination is in Sangdong, Bucheon, I can also choose another pick up in Jungdong, Bucheon, nearby and do both one by one.

Disdvantage :

1) While there are small short-distance deliveries, there are mainly medium and/or long-distance deliveries.

For example, such as picking up in Seo-gu, Incheon and delivery to Jung-gu, Seoul. 

I mainly did pick up in Incheon area and delivery to Bucheon area.

2) The delivery fee may be low considering the distance and time-take so should be caclulate and choose a call very carefully.

Because delivery destination is often far from my current location and neeed to consider the round-trip with no additional fee and olny use it when I have enough time.

3) Car is necessay.

 

In conclusion,

As mentioned above, if need money immediately, give it a try.

Anyone can do it as long as can use the app.

However, in the case you are not good with directions, it may take some times to adjust initially.

Besides these, there are other service like 'Our Neighhoold delivery', 'Yogiyo', 'Vroong friends' and others, but I haven't tried them.

So, I do not mention them this time.
