How to recycle the expired sun screen in real life

Sun screen is used to protect the skin from the sun's ultraviolet rays, that is, UV says.

Taking it with when going to the beach or outside pool in the summer or when going to a country near the equator where the sunshines strongly.

We  commonly call this product in Korea, is applied to the skin a 'sun cream' but it is generally correct to call it a 'sun screen' and when describing it as a product, it is also called a 'sun block'

 

Yesterday, when I took out the sun screen which I bought the summer before last yewr, I felt uncofortable for some reason because of expiration date, so I did some reasearch and recycled the leftover sun screen at once.

 

1. How to recycle the expired sun screen in real life

Expiration date of sun screen is generally recommended to be used within one year after opening.

This is because there is high possibility of causing skin problem if used.

Like me, many people feel like throwing it away is a waste.

This is because they are usually opened in the summer and then left unattended if ther is no need to go aboroad.

So how can you use up the most expired sun screen?

 

1) Remove stickers from the car

Have you ever parked your car somewhere else and received a parking violation sticker?

If you take it off by hand, it doesn't come off easily and even if you force if off, the sticker redidue will remain. right?

After applying sun screen, wipe off the sun screen after 5~10 minutes to remove the sticky sticker resident.

 

2) Remove stickers from newly purchased dishes

Also, the stickers on the new dishes you bought at the mart done't come off. right?

After applying sun screen and rub it with a wet tissue after about 20 minutes, it can be easily removed.

 

3) Clean your sneakers shoes

If you keep wearing sneaker, the surface feels dirty and discolored, right?

If you wipe off it with a dry cloth about 20 minutes after applying sun screen, the dirt will be disappear and and glossy effect will be created.

For dirty did not only on the surface but also on the sole, apply it to every corners with an old toothbrush and when wipe it off with a wet tissue.

Leather sneakers have better glossy effect.

 

4) Remove mirror stains

As time goes by, mirror used for a long time will have stains, appear like water running down the mirror.

After applyin the sun screen on the mirror and then rub it with a wet tissue, most common stains will be disappeared and leave a shiny finish.

 

5) Sink or rusty toilet faucet

When you use a sink or bathroom faucet, do you feel stained and faded due to water stains?

After applying sun screen and wipe it off with a dry cloth after about 5 minutes.

At the first glance, it looks like a new shine.

After then, you will feel like there are less water stains.

 

6) Used in leather products

The old leather sofa at home or the leather wallet you used over time, it loses its luster and its color fades.

After applying enough sun screen and rub it with a dry, non usuable cloth after about 10 minutes to make it shiny.

I think it's a good idea to apply a generouos amount of sun screen, which you can't use anyway.

 

7) Erase magin pen or name pen

It's unsightly where kids have scribled witg markers or nane pens.

After applying sun screen, rub it gently with a wet tissue for about 10 minutes to remove it clearly.

 

8) How to hold rusty scissors properly

Do you have scissors home scissors are rusty because you don't use often?

If you apply sun screen to the rusty blades of the scissor and wipe off the sun sscreen after about 10 minutes, much of the rust will be removed and much of the stiffness will be removed and making it easier to use.

 

2. Common sense usage of sun screen

When applying sun screen, please refer to the information below;

It is common sense but mostly, it is not commonly done.

1) It is generally recommended to use it 30 minutes bdefore going out.

2) If you are outside for a long period of time, it is recommended to reapply once every two hours.

3) Applying with your hands not a cloth or sponge, it would be best to spread it evenly an apply it to every nook and cranny.

Be sure to apply it to your nose and cheekbones.
