Coupang QuickFlex - Advantage &disadvantahge of two person team

Recently, there has increasing trend in Coupang QuickFlex, two persons are teamed up as one team.

I herein summerize the advantahge and disadvantagge of working as a team of two persons compared to working alone.

From now on, I will refer to the person I working with as "partner".

 

Advantage of two person team

1) Quantity is large.

In other words, the montly total amount is high.

Genenally, when assigning a router, receiving it considering working as two person team.

So, there are much more possibility to receive a router with more q'ty than working with one person.

2) Subdivision, scanning, sorting and loading are fast.

If two person do it, it's faster than doing it alone.

3) More strokes per hour.

4) Can make up for each other's shortcoming.

For example, If I have a weak load, my partner can take care of load.

And if the delivery speed is slow, my partner can cover that amount.

When it is first time to go any place and my eyesight is dim, my partner can be my navigator.

 

Disadvantage of two person team

The advantage mentioned above can be sometimes be disadvantage.

1) A large quantity means, it is more than what one person can do but this does not mean, quantity = a per person x 2 times.

So, since there are two persons, the total monthly amount is not twice the total amount for one person but there are many cases it is less than that.

Of course, it is different according to the characteristics of each router.

2) Although it is faster than one person from subdivision to loading, this is a case when two persons continue to do the same and matches each other very well.

If two person's team-work is not matched well or both of two are stubborn, this process will not be smooth and may take longer than doing it alone.

3) Just because two persons deliver, it does not mean, delivery volume is double that of one person.

Generally, a group of two persons is considered to be about 1.5 times of the volume of one person.

Of course, it could be different router by router, but since there are often cases you have to wait and move together at the end of each subsection, number of attempts is relatively reduced.

4) Lastly, consideration of relationship between two person.

In some ways, this may not be disadvantage. But, in terms of human relationships rather than importance of work, this may be the most important.

It does  not matter if a married couple does it, but even if your partner is a friend, senior or junior, or brother (or sister), you may experience of stress over the distribution of the total monthly amount.

I.E., there is only one owner of the car and since a business if opened in the name of owner, taxes such as income tax will be also paid to owner.

In other words, one person will burdened with the cost of filling the tank, maintenane costs and depreciation for the car and taxes (relating to the car) will also be burdened on that person.

 

So, for example, Let's say, I promised, even though my delivery speed is much faster than my partner's, I would only receive 40 % because I do not have a car.

Even so, when you look at the actual amount you receive. you may feel secretly dissatified with the difference with your partner.

However, even if each party pays 1/2 of the total cost of car maitenance, taxes etc, you may think, 'I have better delivery speed and have to suffer a lot'.

In the case above, it is also related to a person's tendency. 

In any case, when playing in a team of two, you will need to seriouly consider the above matters.

 

In conclusion

I compared the advantage and disadvantage of Coupang QuickFlex as a two person team.

More important than the advantage and disadvantage is, mutual understanding and consideration between me and my partner.

No matter how both know each other, differences of opinion will arise when carrying out work and in this case, one person must give in and the other agrees to the different opinions in order for immediate progress to be made.

 

However, pls keep in mind, it is easier said than done, so you need go keep this in mind at all times.
